Bio — About Gary
Originally from St. Catharines, Gary Enskat joined the Firm when he was called to the Bar in 1983. He graduated from Brock University with a Bachelor of Arts (with Distinction) and continued his education at Queen’s University Law School, graduating in 1981.
Gary practices primarily in civil litigation, including personal injury, corporate and estate court work. He has appeared before different tribunals and administrative boards, and courts including the Ontario Court of Appeal.
He has worked as a prosecutor for the City of Niagara Falls and has been called to testify before courts in the United States as an expert witness on the law of Ontario, and has provided numerous legal opinions concerning Ontario law to American attorneys.
Gary is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyer’s Association, The American Association of Justice (formerly the American Trial Lawyer’s Association) and The Advocates Society.
Gary has a strong commitment to his church and community. He is happily married with two children. Gary speaks German fluently. He has been a guest on radio, television and has lectured to numerous public interest groups. Gary is an active volunteer, currently sitting on the board of directors for the “Heidehof” Care for the Aged, and also Mainstream, supporting the developmentally challenged.
