Bio — About Denise

Denise Elliott proudly graduated from Brock University with a Bachelor of Arts (with Distinction) in Politics in 1992. Denise then earned her law degree in 2003 from Osgoode Hall Law School, where she was one of the inaugural graduates of the Tax Law Program, which earned her specialization in tax law on her law degree. She was the recipient of the prestigious Stikeman Elliot Carswell National Tax Award.

Denise’s practice is focused on Estate Planning and Administration, Trusts, and Corporate Law, including incorporations, corporate maintenance, succession planning, corporate reorganizations as well as mergers and acquisitions.

Denise is a frequent speaker in areas of estate and tax planning and is a member of the Niagara Estate Planning Council.

A lifelong resident of the Niagara Region, Denise was born in St. Catharines and resided in Niagara Falls with her husband David for decades where they raised their son Brandon prior to a recent move to the lovely town of Grimsby.

Outside the practice of law, Denise is an avid reader who enjoys walks along Lake Ontario with her dog, and travelling with family and friends to discover Canada and the world.
