Bio — About Rebecca

Rebecca (Becky) Peters obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English from McMaster University in 1993 and a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Niagara College. She graduated from University of Windsor Law School in 2002 and was called to the Bar in 2003 after completing her Articles at Martin Sheppard Fraser LLP.

Becky joined the partnership in 2009 and focuses her practice on Real Estate and Land Use/Planning, including land development and severance applications.  She also represents many condominium corporations, from their initial creation and organization, to ongoing enforcement issues.
Becky is a member of the Welland County Law Association, the Niagara Falls Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association.

She is a former instructor in the Law Clerk Program at Niagara College, teaching Real Estate, Landlord & Tenant and Ethics, and she previously served on the program’s Advisory Committee.  Becky is currently a volunteer Career Coach with the Ontario Career Lab.  Having grown up in the Niagara Region, Becky moved from Fonthill to Niagara Falls where she resides with her husband, Jeff Peters, a local accountant. Becky enjoys spending time at the cottage, reading, baking, travelling and hiking.
