Mikayla DePalo

Mikayla was born and raised in the Niagara region and brings a global perspective to her legal practice. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with honours from Brock University in 2021 and completed her Juris Doctor in 2024 at Griffith University in Australia, where she focused on Canadian Law. Studying abroad gave her valuable international experience while remaining closely connected to the Canadian legal system.

Mikayla joined Martin Sheppard Fraser as a law student in 2024, served as articling student in 2025, and was called to the Bar in 2026. Mikayla’s practice focuses on civil litigation, including Small Claims Court and Landlord-Tenant matters.  Mikayla is passionate about advocacy, while valuing collaboration and clear communication to guide clients through complex legal matters.

Outside the office, Mikayla enjoys reading, yoga, travel, and spending time outdoors.
