Bio — About Benjamin
Benjamin Rocca is an associate at Martin Sheppard Fraser LLP, practicing in general litigation, family, and immigration law. He earned an Honours BA in Political Science from Wilfrid Laurier University and an LLB from the University of Sussex in Brighton, England. During law school, he volunteered with the Migration Law Clinic and local charity, Voices in Exile, to provide free legal immigration advice to those in the community. For this work, Benjamin was recognized with the Clinical Legal Education’s Highly Commended Award.
After returning to Canada, Benjamin completed his NCA exams and articled at an immigration and refugee law firm in downtown Toronto. Benjamin joined Martin Sheppard Fraser in June 2026, following his Call to the Bar.
Born and raised in the Niagara region, he is proud to serve the community he calls home. Outside of the office, Benjamin is passionate about health and fitness. He hosts a local run club and regularly challenges himself in marathon and ultramarathon races. He is an avid reader, fan of live music, and frequent traveler.
